We are pleased to collaborate with J. Broadwood & Sons to offer to our customers beautiful, handcrafted clavichords made in Britain.

Each instrument is hand-assembled at Broadwood’s workshop in Yorkshire.

All clavichords are built in ‘solid’ wood (not veneered).

We offer custom-made instruments of 4, 4-and-a-half, and five-octave keyboard compass.

On the five-octave instruments (F to F) it is possible to play all of Mozart’s keyboard works and most of Haydn’s.
 

The smaller four-octave models (C to C) are appropriate for Baroque performance of Bach and Handel.
